Floodlight MS is a science-based smartphone app designed to inform clinical conversations and healthcare provider decisions by collecting objective data on patient function between clinic visits to see beyond the surface of living with MS.

    A person living with MS may experience a variety of different symptoms over time that impact their daily life. 

    Not only that, many people living with MS may only have the chance to talk with their healthcare provider once or twice a year, and it can be difficult to remember how MS has impacted them since their last appointment.

    The cycle repeats—and the result? Opportunities for healthcare providers to better understand how MS impacts people living with MS may be missed and conversations may leave both healthcare providers and people living with MS in the dark about the time between visits.

    Introducing Floodlight MS. 

    Floodlight MS is a science-driven smartphone app that remotely keeps track of function over time that may help support clinical conversations.

    Data is power. Floodlight MS helps shine a light between office visits by keeping track of objective data that may help inform care conversations. 

    Floodlight MS features 5 regulated activities, putting the power of a digital health technology directly into the hands of people living with MS and their healthcare providers.

    Floodlight MS is easily accessible on a smartphone, allowing a person living with MS to interact with the app based on the personalized routine recommended by their healthcare provider.

    The app collects the person's data between clinic appointments for their healthcare provider to interpret.

    Three commonly affected areas of function are measured using 5 activities: Pinch a tomato, Draw a shape, U-turn, 2-minute walk, and Match the symbols. The app also includes a Journal to help document mood, physical wellness, and symptoms.

    People living with MS can see their data in the app over time, and healthcare providers can view Floodlight MS data in their portal. All data in the app or in the portal are stored securely and safely. 

    On the healthcare provider's portal, results are organized into an easy-to-read dashboard designed to provide more information for their clinical practice. Data are organized to highlight trends over time that can be used by the healthcare provider to help inform their care conversations with a person living with MS.

    Managing MS care is a team effort.

    With Floodlight MS, a person living with MS and their healthcare provider can work together toward improving clinical conversations and more informed decision-making around care.
